This tells his point of view perfectly! I love your art so much but the ending is stressing me out with Grian having 3 wither heads-

They all look sooooo evil in that last bit, I absolutely love it

Love it!!!! I couldn't help but notice that Grian's yellow was darker than Mumbo's.

This hits harder now. I’d love to see it remade with Grian killing Solidarity and Mumbo and then Martyn betraying him and impulse dying leaving Grian alone by himself

I'm losing my mind over the fact that you decided to start this animation with the end of season one. Grian as a character surviving the madness that was season one and getting himself "put back together" to go into season two, not too happy and merely coping until he got into the swing of things with friends again only to have it fall apart in front of him, reminding him of the pain season one caused. The memory of having to kill his own friends and being faced with that reality once again. Insane and I love it so much.

I will now breakdown each scene. Ya know, for fun and cause this is epic:

I love how - somehow - the one green name and two yellow names are currently so much more terrifying than the red names combined, rn. Love this animation! Sums it all up perfectly!!

THE WITHER SKULL CLIFF HANGER AT THE END OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GOOD !!!

OH MY GOD THIS IS SOOOOO COOL. THE TRANSITIONS??? THAT END BIT WHERE THEY'LL ALL TOGETHER AND IT'S HAPPY AND I WAS HAPPY FOR JUST A MOMENT BEFORE MUMBO TURNS RED AND WALKS AWAY, AND THEN IT GOES UP IN FLAMES,,,, ,WOW!! MY EMOTIONS.

Aaaahhhhh this is amazing!! I love how the entire thing is Grian basically “walking” through his life, you never change from the front view of him and I think that’s really cool, never really seen that in an animatic before! And the Southlander’s bit, you got their dynamic down perfectly in just a few seconds to the point where even someone who didn’t know about Last Life could get upset when they all split up! And the very ending with the Wither skulls, how chill-inducing! All this to say this is so awesome, good job :D

he was only onscreen for a short amount of time but your impulse design is probably one of my favorite things about this entire animatic. he is shaped like a friend
