This ship always gets to me because it's practically canon with the mere fact that Phoenix will go through hell and high water for Miles "Just to SEE him again" and if that's not gay and pure and wonderful then I'll be writing a strongly worded letter to the definition makers for dictionaries.

this is the perfect blend of comedy and heart-wrenching. i loved the part where the mysterious "he" became phoenix and it burst into color. and the ending with phoenix running towards miles???? i'm... soft..

I don’t see enough people talking about this, so can we just take a moment to appreciate the real hero of Ace Attorney.... Larry! We know that he was the one who stole Edgeworth’s money when they were children, but if he never did that, there never would have been a class trial. Edgeworth wouldn’t have the opportunity to defend Phoenix, and the three of them wouldn’t have become friends. Phoenix never would have become a defence attorney. He wouldn’t have gone to college to study law, which means he couldn’t have been framed for murder, and if that didn’t happen, Mia most likely wouldn’t have gone back to court ever again or overcome the trauma of Terry’s death. And when Von Karma framed Edgeworth for murder, no one would have defended him, getting him declared guilty. The worst part is that WrightWorth wouldn’t even exist! (Well, maybe not the worst thing, but still pretty bad) So without Larry, Ace Attorney couldn’t have even happened!

The last lyric of the song-- "When he sees me he'll want to again." (???) Phoenix DID want to see Miles again. And Miles, being the dense tsundere he is, doesn't realize. (Or maybe he does and is just implying it IS Nick) Nick's reason for even becoming a defense attorney is because he wanted to see Miles. AGAIN.
