i can't believe how fresh some of the songs in this series were. This and "Eddie, let me go back" are ridiculous

This song and it’s reprise are creative masterpieces and leak with political and biblical analogy’s. Leo represents the even changing trends of society and this is shown by his attention seeking life style and focus on looks over personality, spending his time trying to gain popularity and validity from women and his peers. This begins to change however as the ark of the episode continues, giving Leo Luster true insite into the lives of the Kong’s living below him that he had not once thought of how he treated. Realizing this and his wrongdoings he has a change of heart but before he could fix what he had done he was kidnapped by K Rool. Like the Abrahamic figure Moses in the Bible and the Jewish Torah, Leo’s lavish and worldly lifestyle begins to change as he comprehends the future that awaits him that he has the duty called upon by God to rescue his people (the Kong’s) and lead them to the promise land (Kongo Bongo Island). The epic that is the Donkey Kong Country TV series ends on a impactful and influential moment, with Leo repeating the same line that Abraham uttered millennium ago, “let my people go”.
