Ah the Continent Hotel! We have stayed there twice. I keep thinking about trying a different one but, the location and views and food makes me go back . Although I quite like the muse, but the wife would probably complain about it being too dark!

Next time check out IBIS styles Soi 4, shares the building with the Novotel. Only difference is the Novotel breakfast is slightly better but you share the rest of the building including the rooftop pool for a fraction of the price.
