I like the trade for Ortiz, both in a vacuum and in the context of Alex Cobb getting 15 million. Getting Hartle and Kennedy seem like good options to fill innings organizationally and the team has proven that they will be as patient as possible with pitcher's development. I am going to miss Gimenez, I hope he rebounds and plays well in Toronto. Great show as usual!

Great value trade for Cleveland. Love it or hate it, this is how the Guardians operate. They had a bad contract and needed a starting pitcher. They found a creative solution to both problems.
