Just looking at Wiemer same defensive skills as Isbel except he has a bat

Wiemer has a TON of upside. His hitting just needs to improve. But really good trade

I have really enjoyed having Singer in Kansas City and I wish him the best. I think something really over looked though, is Singer only pitched to one batter in the post season! We traded a player that was NOT a piece on our playoff team, for a lead off bat AND an prospect outfielder. Granted, Singer was instrumental in getting us to the playoffs and I won't deny that. The other thing people over look is, what's the difference in Singer and Marsh? Both put very similar numbers in 24, Marsh with just less innings? Singer's fip was 3.94 to Marsh's 4.34. Their K% and BB% were nearly identical. If Marsh can increase his workload by 40 to 50 innings, he's Singer's replacement. We just need a depth SP or two and the names mentioned by Jack to fill in the 5th spot.

I like the trade, India is an offensive upgrade over Garcia. But i still like Massey"s bat in the lineup. Let's also get Anthony Santander and/or Profar.

I would like to see his adv go up. Instead of hitting 15 homeruns at the K I would like to see 30-40 doubles and 10 triples and hit .270 steal 20 bases

I would just like to see Jonathan India to bring his average up to someone between .260 to.270 because.250 for a lead off hitter isn’t good enough. He’s a good player and walks a lot but a higher average would be even more exciting. Focus more on line drives. He’s in a bigger ballpark now and we don’t need 15 homeruns. I’m thinking 30-40 doubles 10 triples and 20 stolen bases. .265 average. We can take that.

Gonna miss Singer

Re-signing Lorenzen is almost a must now. Outfield is suddenly crowded with Melendez, Isbel, Renfroe, Wiemer and maybe Massey too. Guess Blanco’s days in KC are done? Still would be nice to add a middle of the order OF bat, which would squeeze somebody else out too. Another trade coming perhaps?

Is Kyle Wright not the simple move to Singers spot? Ragans, Lugo, Wacha, Wright, Marsh?

I do feel both teams got good value out of their players. However I favor the deal for the Royals. There are several decent arms in free agency the Royals can pickup for a reasonable cost to replace Singer if they feel the need to.

Now hopefully JJ signs some non tendered players
