So useful thing I noticed with this is that its better to be too fast than too slow. If you get the error noise you can keep trying without resetting, but if you activate the hunters mark or lantern you have to reset.

May 30th, 2024 it still works. Thank you bro. I was pressing X too soon. Tip for any of y'all struggling and thinking it is patched. It's not. Your X timing is probably off. Hit X when your character's head is just about to turn forward after the empty item animation that triangle initiates.

The best breakdown for this glitch yet. Thanks a bunch. I don't get the timing right, but at least I got one lucky shot already. Haven't had one with the other guides out there. So thanks again! :)

I read the comments and many dont seem to get it and alot of unnecessary tips about what to wear and not. Just follow everything he says about the item and storage process. Just remove all blood vials, and equipt huntersmark on first slot of R-pad. Thats it. Now you press triangle and then R-pad. Here is my trick that I found easiest. When your character looks back looking for vials. You have to press X the right moment when your character turns its head back looking straight to it's original position. So basicly: Triangle to make it look behind and then X when it turns its head back. But not X before or during the turning. The timing is just before it's original state. So practise the timing with the head and not weapons.

This has either been patched or im doing something completely wrong because it pulls out my gestures instead of Hunters mark

Guys if u still finding it hard to do the timing with the x here is a trick i used which helped me.. so when he turns his head back start counting try 1 then x if it doesn't work count 1, 2 then x and so on and on which number it happens press x on that number

Can confirm still works but god damn you gotta be frame perfect with this shit. Got it to proc only once by pure luck about 15 minutes in, been at it for an hour since with no results.

The holy blade part is a good tip. I'm a cane user but the blade will be useful for this glitch.
