I've gotten to the point where I don't want to get in my car any more, the standards of driving in this country have fallen to an all time low and even a short journey to work is full of dangers!!
After a number of close calls, near accidents and unprovoked road rage incidents, I decided to start recording this behaviour:
a) for insurance purposes
b) to name and shame those who are the REAL danger on our roads!!
All to often in the UK it's the innocent motorists that get fined/punished for doing a few mph over the speed limit, whist the real problem idiots get away scot free and go on to cause major accidents!

Hello there, thanks for the little tutorial. I tried this to no avail. What I did notice on the board was a little microswitch on the same side as the sd card, slightly below it. I tried pushing this and hey presto, the camera is working. I then noticed the word reset on the outside, with a tiny hole that you can get a toothpick through to operate it. I haven't found reference to this anywhere. Worth a try though. It worked for me. Thanks again.

I've heard that some people have altered the firmware to get rid of the time stamp, but that's the only modification I know of (and I don't know how it was done).
