This feels like a theme that'd play when the hero finally defeats the final boss, but ends up mortally wounded. Desperately clinging to life they start to limp towards the dungeon exit where all the friends they made along the way are waiting, slowly realizing they won't make it.

memes aside, this song along with the imagery honestly really fits and kinda hits me emotionally. I'm probably reading way too deep into it but the title of "credits song for my death" really feels appropriate for the song.

the fact that this song is the most upbeat out of the whole album implies that the aftermath of their death is a much happier time for them than their life of suffering in their head

This feels like a neutral ending, not a perfect one or the most horrible one out there but bitter sweet. Fitting to most people's lives tbh

This song feels like when the mc has finally accomplished what he wanted to do and turns back saying "I've finally done it, I've won" only to be met with saddened faces and sorrowful looks. Then realisation slowly kicks in as he lifts his hand only to see that it is see-through and that he, in fact, died somewhere along the way.

This came up in a heavy metal playlist youtube tried to generate for me. YT wasn't exactly right but I'm not disappointed, nice song!
