Great sound. Not sure why so many people are hating on the 6th gen's styling, Despite it being a good bit chunkier and bigger than the 5th, it still has a great look.

Thanks for the feedback, I using a set of Hotshot headers that were originally made for the 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R, unfortunitely the family owned business that makes them RETIRED!!! So these Headers are no longer available. Good News, Cattman has make a set for the 6spd and an auto set will follow soon. Everything else on your list should give you an awesome sound IMO...

Thanks for the feedback and props. It may be a Nissan but the plant where it was made employs thousands of Americans in Tennessee (where it was built), unlike many US pony cars which are now made in Canada and Mexico.

Thanks for the props, Cattman's the only one right now that has headers for the 6th Gen that do not require modification. I have Hotshots that were also a direct boltup but no longer made! With a NISMO CAI and headers, nice power gain!

Lightweight Crank Pulleys reduce parasitic drag placed on the crankshaft by under driving the accessories such as Alternator, Power Steering and Air Conditioning. Under driving slows down the accessories to use less energy from the crankshaft but doesn't slow them down to the point the accessory operation becomes effected. Most of the power gains are produced from the lightened weight of the crank pulley.

Before they went out of business I purchased a set of 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R headers from Hotshot. They bolted right up with no modification and it came with a high flow Cat with all the O2 sensor bungs. The car is Dyno Tuned to about 305+HP

I've been in many EVO's and no way do they feel as luxury and roomy as a Maxima. Props for their speed but out classed when it comes to ride, room, comfort, available options, and feel...

@gbenipal Thanks for the feedback, your feelings are correct, Hotshot was a small company who made these headers initially for the 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R and when the owners retired, the company closed. Thus these headers are no longer made. Only company I know that makes a header for a 6th gen max is Cattman Performance. I'm sure they have a website and you want to speak with Brian.

At least for me the install was not very easy, took us 10 + hrs because we had to learn how to do it since it had never been done on a 6th Gen before. Hardest part was removal of rear heat shields and Precats. The best way we developed to access this task is to remove the hood, the support frame above the firewall with the windshield wipers and last, drop the subframe! Had we done all this first, then maybe it would have been a 7hr job!
