Thank you for being one of the people understand the challenge of making a TRUE Traxxas 2wd slash run faster than many XO-1 owners. Truly was a complete unknown when reaching these speeds with this truck.

I have the proline pro2, modded to the gills and my best speed was 84 on 4s. My setup will allow for 6s, but I'm still working on smooth car control at these speeds. Great work on the slash.

Yes I used the stock slipper clutch. I only burned out one set during all my runs I made with truck. That was caused by the nylon nut backing out and losing it's nylon grip, but that had a 20+ runs on it. All I can tell you is tighter her all the way down and used blue lock tight on the nut. That is all I did. I still scratch my head to all the problems others have had with there slipper clutches. Good luck man, hope that helps.
