This song kicks off with one of the best vocal yells ever. That “If its groove you’re looking FOOOOOOOOOOOR” was so strong but so stable, it sounded so great. If I ever get famous and get chance to sing a cover of any song, I want to sing this very first so I come out the gate swinging

Funny thing, I originally had a metal type guitar solo that I had completely written out for that part (I don't know why, it didn't fit one single bit). So I showed it too some friends, and they realized that solo obviously didn't work, and I wanted to the get the song out that day, so I quickly recorded an improvised clean solo and then put it up. If I could go back now, I would totally make that a saxophone solo :D

As a bassist who absolutely LOVES swing music, the concept of Octavia jamming a tasty swing bass groove just tickles my peach.
