utk makluman landasan keretapi ktm malaysia ni adalah jenis metre guige iaitu lebar landasan 1000 mm atau 1 meter. ETS ni speed dia boleh sampai 180 kmj dan lebih tp disebabkan landasan yg kurang lebar maka speed dia kena maintain 140 kmj shj utk keselamatan dan landasan ini adalah peninggalan drpd zaman british dulu.

Yes the refurbished line between Rawang and Ipoh is very good and the riding quality of this train is remarkable for a tiny narrow 1000mm gauge. I think that is the fastest 1000mmm gauge train in the world. The normal speed in daily operation is something between 140 and 150km/h

@gafffin2003 I don't think so for this kind of train. This is the Electric Multiple Unit for Meter Gauge track (1000mm). It does not falls under the EMUs for High Speed Train and France is running on 1435mm which is much more wider and could speed even faster.

160km/hrs ok lah tu.. tp perlu tambah kekerapan dari yg ada sekarang.. contohnya 2 jam jarak masa satu train ..

This is a meter gauge railway. 160kmh is safe enough for this gauge system. Whereas TGV, Shinkansen, ICE and the Chinese HSR were standard gauge tracks which permitted their present speed.
