I think that's a super way to start seed because I use a lot of compost filling loads of trays and sowing seeds singly in cells. This way is more economical, less wasteful and a lot quicker. Super, I'll be doing this too.

I like your system for planting seeds. What state do you live in and what zone are you? When will you put the broccoli transplants in the ground?

Thanks for the info. I am going to give that a try next time. Sound like you had great results doing it that way. Have you tried that method on any other type of seeds?

@baconsoda Thanks Brendan. This way you can transplant the strongest and most heathiest plants into your 6 packs. It's just a litlle more work, but you end up with primo plant in your 6 packs. I do it with all my plants I start indoors. Well worth the extra time.
