The irony, when men complain that their wife keeps having girls, is that the gender is "determined" by the man. We have 46 chromosomes, 44+XX for girls, and 44+XY for boys. Women can only ever give the 22+X. Men can either give 22+X or 22+Y. And that determines the child's sex/gender (I always confuse the two, so I'll just leave this here.) So if anything, it should be the men who are to blame. But no one ever says this, yea? Always the wife who has a problem, yea? Biology says no.
