This song really makes you feel like this finally is the end of a long, long journey. It feels like a true final boss theme, but also references the classic lobby theme. Really takes you back to when you first started playing.

This is honestly so underrated, it has such large amounts of finality it's hard not to feel emotional. The lobby theme motif screams in your ear man. And also Phoqus being sneaky and putting in a nuclear monster reference too.

It took me a bit to realize that this song is a remix of the Lobby theme... (Listen closely to the lead)

I really like this song because i'm pretty sure it's the only TDS song in the entire soundtrack that uses a motiff from another song. In 1:07 - 1:30, it uses the melody from the main lobby theme, which is really fitting considering this basically the final boss theme for TDS

I love this song. 1:04 to 1:30 is the lobby theme, but slightly remixed, different enough to make it unrecognizable at first, but similar enough to give you a sense of familiarity, it really gives off "The end is the beginning" vibes. Another thing is the constant swing between helplessness and hope, which all the more with the accompanying beats, make this song really good and suiting for the Void Reaver.

What I love about the tds ost is that they often manage to sneak that lil tune in there

I love when the authors of games in the last boss fight, under the last phase (or just a boss fight) with background music, either substitute a divine choir or something like rock (like here). It's really motivating
