Hands down, the show’s scariest and most evil villain. As evil as guys like Katz and King Ramses are, kids can rest easy knowing that guys who run hotels full of gianr spiders and demonic mummies are still make-believe at the end of the day. People like Mad Dog, however, actually do exist in real life.

I think this is the scariest villian cos Mad Dog’s persona reflects the reality of abusive partners who abuse or exploit their spouse.

The fact that this feels so real and happens every is even more terrifying than monsters, demons and ghosts.

As a kid, it was unbeknownst to me that Mad dog was an abusive partner/boyfriend [hence the wife-beater shirt]. Now as an adult I can see why this episode was so dark and how the creator was shocked that Cartoon Network allowed this one to air.

This episode will always be my favorite from courage the cowardly dog. Can’t believe Cartoon Network tried to delete this episode it happens in real life. Also John DilWorth even confirmed Bunny and Kitty are lesbians!

He's a real monster...he doesn't even wear pants! What kind of monster doesn't wear pants! Jokes aside, even though Courage TCD and its episodes are goofy and the characters are fantastical...this episode is when it got deep excluding the Slab episode since it was scary but not something like this.

I refuse to believe this dog survives. I know CN couldn't kill off their characters no matter how evil they are, but Mad Dog couldn't have survived the Train crash regardless. And this is coming from a show where Courage survived worse things than the crash.

The scariest things are the stuff that exist in real life.

Mad Dog is a perfect representation of alpha male thugs who abuse their partners and soiled them. In the scene where Bunny was buried in a flower pot after the dogs attacked her, it is a metaphor implication that she was raped and soiled literally.

"If I even smell Kitty, I'll bury the two of you". Good Lord, this becomes much more disgusting and horrifying after discovering what it actually means to be "buried". If he finds Bunny with Kitty, he'll assault them both.

If this were released today, men would protest it.

Dick Hardly from Powerpuff Girls was also the most villainous in said show, even Mojo Jojo and Him gets some humorous moments but there's nothing funny about Dick, used the Professor's friendship to gain money from Chemical X and even intending to make him his slave to spare his daughters.

Mad Dog is not someone you should mess with. But unfortunately for Courage, he has no choice since the cowardly pink dog has to get through Mad Dog and his gang to get to Bunny.
