Let me reiterate this. We use this company. But not the store it went to. The store we go to does top-notch job. It ended up at this store by mistake. It was never supposed to go there. That is why I cannot name the company. This rant is to show you what can happen at any shop whether it's independent, dealer, or chain. Just be careful. And no i won't name the company cause we do business with the corporate store (which does really good) where the district manager is. They do it right. And for those telling me i should balance myself and do my own tires. I have no room in the shop for a tire machine or a balancer. Let alone anywhere to stock tires. It's 3 bays. 1 of which is full cause I have nowhere to put anything. That is why I don't do them. Now stop asking. Oh and it didn't go for new tires.

Damn, I wish there was a mechanic around here with those qualities.

I did the pads and rotors on my '17 transit connect. It had about 65k KM when I bought it, and I got serious brake pulsation around 120k KM.

Nice to see more honest mechanics popping up. Honesty might not pay as much up front but repeat customers makes it worth it.

Understandable that you are upset! I would be too! Sounds like the Tire Shop needs to have a talk with their tech or show him the door.

I was brought up in the garage business, a mechanic in a small village garage here in England. I can warn you all: beware of all 'fast-fit' places, tyre and exhaust specialists specifically. Try to use a small independent outfit that has a good local reputation.
