As someone who’s 31 and was very active in this scene in California and Florida, this album is literally the peak of deathcore and every other deathcore band since has had no reason to exist and lived in the shadow of this record. Actual social and political messages, absolutely brutal riffs, the best vocalist. Elysia was THEE deathcore band and if you disagree it’s probably because you’re a hardcore kid in your early twenties who was a literal child when this came out and you don’t understand that you’re jocking shit no one at the time gave a fuck about.

This album deserves a remaster and rerelease, hands down best deathcore album of all time. Here Comes The Kraken takes a close second for sure.
