Doc, King, and Lightning McQueen all had a huge crash, but King is the only one who’s crash was a result of another car bumping into him instead of losing control from pushing himself too far. That said, Mcqueen’s crash was the most painful as he’s the only one who scrapped across the asphalt while Doc and King both crashed on dirt.

I absolutely love it when scenes like this are based off real life incidents. It makes the scene even more impactful to the viewer, because we are subconsciously reminded that this kind of stuff is possible and does hapoen in real life while still staying immersed in the fictional world. It also brings awareness to the real life incident that inspired the scene, and I feel using sentient vehicles is the best way to do that
