To my knowledge, the only MP3 player that can utilize the head unit to change songs are Ipod products. The USB hub is powered, so it will charge whatever it is plugged into. Hope this helps. :)

The Sti Magnum is comparable to the Escort Redline in terms of range and reactivity. The Sti Magnum has better rampup (audio alert is more consistent with signal strength). Filtering is so-so, you'll still get false alerts from Cobra RD's in K/Ka band. Escort LIVE capable.
