the national weather service in the twin cities has issued a tornado warning for, anoka county in central minnesota, hennepin county in central minnnesota, until 11pm central standard time, at 10:45pm, a severe thunderstorm was located near dayton, moving east at 40 miles per hour, expected hazards include tornado and 70 miles per hour wind gusts and baseball size hail, source radar and trained weather spotters, impact, this tornado replaces the severe thunderstorm warning for the same area ,trained weather spotters have reported a damaging tornado, take shelter now, move into a sturdy structure such as a basement or storm shelter, if no basement is available, move into a closet or a bathroom, if outside, or in a car, gat to a ditch and cover your head with your hands, flying debris can be deadly if caught out in a storm. A tornado warning has been issued until 11pm for the following counties in central minnesota, anoka, and hennepin.
