I love Custom Robo and I'll never forget it, one of my favorites of all time.

I have yet to find a game to scratch the same itch. NOt just gameplay wise, but in terms of full package. Story, characters, aesthetic, etc. It was basically a game that gave me that Zoid/Medabots/Mega Man NT warrior type of game I’ve always wanted.

Such an under-rated game. This was my favorite game for a long time. Needs a re-boot or remake or something!

For pvp try tag mode. There's a lot of cool things you can do with the character change mid-combat. You can also fire the acrobat bomb at your feet and then immediately use any laggy gun (sniper, v-laser, dragon, hornets, etc.) and it will launch you upwards as the shot comes out, letting you keep moving.

Also the die cannon isn't random. You mash A while still inside to reset the count/countdown faster which ensures you landing on or near 1 so you can be the first out.
