Agreed, I am currently going through this exactly!!! But it is quite possible to fuck with them. If you hear the voices and most of them are generated from a computer system, then you can if you practice, stop the voices by thinking of it like a play or stop button, rewind and forward , and also loop the sounds. I first started this by using my imagination to picture it in my mind and also acting out the thought with my hands. It came natural to me because of the fact that I am very animated with my hand already. Start practicing with that and also you can thing about as using it to lower or raise the volume. This then progressed to me being able to do it by just thinking and then I melded to just to keep it as a sticker like in snapchat and using it when i blink and it works pretty well.
