James Evans was the main reason I enjoyed watching the show of a Dad did whatever he could to keep the family together. He was the only one who wasn't afraid of Sweet Daddy

It was a bad thing to cut him from the show. Many black families had no father and he was a good example of a father for his kids. After he was gone it was just another family with a single mom. My favorite seasons were the ones where he was still there.
