So, what do you guys think? Is Kenny misunderstood? A mirror to Lee? Or something else entirely?

Shows how many people still miss this game series

Something you didn't mention is how Kenny's mental well-being relies heavily on Lee at points. Kenny feels extremely guilty about letting Shawn die, and you can talk about it in depth with him twice (in the train and in the pharmacy), and this deeply affects his decision with Larry. If you don't help him there, Kenny doubts himself even more, wondering if he messed up again, and that's what causes him to be so harsh and lashing out, because he's hating himself and adopting an ugly personality because of it. Kenny doesn't act like an ass because he wants you to suck up to him, but because he keeps wondering if he horribly messed up again.

Kenny drives a car, train, boat, and is the most useful person to any group.

This. I think Kenny is the greatest character Telltale has ever made, he’s so complex and tragic

During my first playthrough I never let him die. Canonically in my playthrough he was alive. He walked off

Kenny is understandably shaken and Jane messes with him to get to clementine and it's gross
Prince_Luci (2 hour ago)
I supported Kenny at every chance. Never once even considered not trusting him completely. Kenny always had my back, and i always had his.

They could never make me hate you, Ken. I don't care what season 2 tried to do.

Speaking of season 2, Imagine having something good for once after losing your entire family only for another group to come in leading another more evil group to you and getting everyone you know kidnapped and enslaved, even after Kenny escapes Carver, he loses everyone in his original group and is stuck with people he meet a couple days ago, not to mention Bonnie who was apart of the evil group, Jane who goes against all of Kenny’s family values and Luke who wanted to abandon Kenny when he was hurt. The only people Kenny actually liked and did not fight with were Clem and Rebecca, I’d say Kenny was the most patient of all of them, besides Clem obviously

I am not sure if people have clocked onto this, but that tent scene in s2 episode 3 perfectly mirrors his speech about katjaa committing suicide

Kenny has always been a favorite of mine. Behind Clem and Lee, he's definitely my favorite in the whole series. I like him because he is a great depiction of how real people would act in an apocalypse. He doesn't always make the right decisions, and more often than not his wrong decisions were driven by emotions rather than logic. Humans aren't perfect, and neither is Kenny. But thats what makes him so compelling to me.

I love Kenny even though he’s super flawed. He just feels everything so strongly. But i respect him so much because he always tried to put Duck, Clem and AJ above everyone else. I just want to give the man a hug

Kenny is my taletale walking dead favorite character all time. Such a good in depth character. Seeing all he went thru and how it changed him thru the seasons was crazy.
