brookeBG, the clip from the Harper's Island trailer that you're talking about was from the original presentation of the show. Only Elaine Cassidy (Abby), CJ Thomason (Jimmy), Adam Campbell (Cal), Cameron Richardson (Chloe), Matt Barr (Sully), Brandon Jay MacLaren (Danny), Seth Rogerson (Booth), Chris Gauthier (Malcolm), and Cassandra Sawtell (Madison) were in both the presentation and actually show. They have promos and trailers for it too, but I haven't found any actual scenes posted.

The actors were apparentally BFFs and knew each other since filming the show's presentation, which is what the scenes are 2:47 and 3:02 are from. (The presentation was filmed before the series was picked up by CBS).
