I'm Teoh (aka Parka from parkablogs.com). I'm an artist/designer who creates graphics for news publication. In 2009, I started to focus on sketching and watercolour more seriously and I hope to share the experience and knowledge that I've learned over the years.
I don't do paid reviews.

I think some of the problems you are experiencing are due to technique and not the pen. Usually, when you learn calligraphy, you also learn stroke direction. With a nib like that, it is not recommended to make any upward strokes, so you cannot just write using cursive writing technique. Each stroke has to be done one at a time and in a downward direction.

He already said that he doesn’t have calligraphy skills so maybe watch to the end before you judge.

The art was beautiful, drawing something with calligraphy pen is really tough and he was just reviewing the pens not teaching his calligraphy skills, so stop judging you guys

True artist—can use anything to create! My dad was calligrapher and artist and drew with whatever he felt like!

Thanks for not just reviewing them, but taking them apart entirely. Definitely helps.

To use a Pilot parallel as an "eyedropper" pen (filling the entire barrel with ink), you just put a little silicon grease on the threads, and that seals it up, so it won't leak...

Looks like fun pens for getting my handwriting back in shape. I'm 54. We had to learn cursive & had no computer's or cell phones in school. I didn't learn email until 1998 My handwriting has suffered since smartphones I'm loving my new fountain pens so I use them. My handwriting & drawing skills are returning. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise & inspiring us to do art the og way. Procreate is cool but I can but so much fun art supplies for the price of an Ipad & the software

This is the first time I've seen such calligraphy pens. Thank you for an illustrative example of working with this tool and thanks for the links!

Kind of charming to see how these anachronisms survive in the modern world. Fountain pens are such neat little pieces of engineering.
