Like most of you, I wasn't impressed with the Minecraft Movie Trailer, so I decided to recreate it :D

The right amount of expressions to the characters unlike the actors. The boy actor is the only one who didn’t overdo his expressions.

The billion dollar corporation is losing to this better version

The fact this looks so much better (even if it's a bit raw), and was made in such a short time after the trailer came out...while it's highly unlikely WB/Mojang would be able to fully remove all of the live-action characters before the release of the film, it should 100% be possible for them to redo the designs of mobs such as the llama, sheep, wolf, etc in that amount of time. And if they don't do that, then it shows just how much they care about the actual core fans when making this film (that is, no care at all).

Now THIS is a real Minecraft movie.

this is what the actual movie should look like. would be a nice tribute to all the smaller minecraft animation studios out there.

This looks fr better than Warner Bros. approach. They really did this with no soul or care for the source material, so many fans animating a better trailer in three days.

I think didn't mind the official movie style as much as others, but it would be incredible in this style. Just this pretty quickly done animation has so much more charm, character, quality and looks good. As a proof of concept its great.
