you need to get a cone filter for the sound. if anybody here is wondering! :) that's the only way to get that badass sound . plus, with turbos...getting cone filters or short ram intake won't get "heat soak" because you already have an intercooler for the turbo that already cools down the air massively so that doesn't matter

I recently bought an mk4 Jetta all stock (first car) and I did the same thing: take off fast and hear the turbo spool up. It really is addicting and uses a lot of gas

so this actually was an evolution motorsports valve.

On my 1.8t 01 jetta I have a stage 2 tune and the stock dv along with a cheapo autozone cone filter and if sounds about the same but the car doesn't like that the stock dv is getting 22 psi of boost it bucks and shakes when you let off but it sounds cool
