I can’t believe this actually just came in my recommendations. Man I miss the D1. It just always felt so mysterious and back then I always felt like there was always something to do/discover. Even if you’d done everything the world just had that feeling, like you just didn’t know what secrets you might have missed.

Shadow keep comes out

A lot of people saying that you don't need to go into the raid to get "The Old Hunger," that's fine and all. But the point still remains that you do eventually need to go into the raid and kill all of the bosses to be able to get the weapon, you can't skip that part at all. I apologize for anything incorrect, but I had a very limited amount of sources to find out what quests you did and did not have to do, especially considering there are so many.

we need a raid/exotic questline like this more hopefully in shadowkeep

this is the ultimate weapon to use when in the aura of immortality

What I loved about this gun is that you had to go through this whole process including doing the raid in order to get the gun and then it ended up being one of the best guns to use at the end of the raid. Being immune at the boss fights at the end meant you could fire this thing at double damage without taking any damage and it worked really well at boss dps (or at least if a few of your fireteam members were using it)
