We had fire drills in elementary a lot and we had to SILENTLY get into, not just a single file line, but in alphabetical order. Thats right. In case of a fire, force your immature fourth grade students to shuffle around for like 10 minutes to get into roll order. What could possibly go wrong?? After that we would have to evacuate to the main oval which was a giant field made of grass. Yes. Obviously the safest place for kids to go in a fire is a giant grass field because thats not flammable at all especially with the blazing. Australian. Sun. After that we had to sit down in our lines parallel to the other grades and classes in front of us and be silent apart from students answering the roll call. Honestly, i don't know if any of us would have survived if there was actually a fire.

my teacher once said, "if i hear anyone talking we will go back inside and keep doing it until we get it right. Do you really want that?" we would've died...

Guys everyone is joking about fire drills, but it’s really important during a fire to leave the building silently, because otherwise the fire might hear you

during an earthquake, my history teacher don't even give a fuck about anyone, he just runs and dissapeared

Anyone else ever think during drills: “yeah if this shit ever happens I’m bolting out the fucking door”

Student: * gets lung cancer from all the smoke and also 1st degree burns*

Principal: “So are all your students there?”

Teacher: Get in line but in alphabetical order.

i never understand when they say "dont take anything with you, there's no time"

And then someone talks in the line and the teacher stops, turns and says “i heard talking” and then everyone has to go back to class and try it again quietly

"If there's ever a school fire, I want you all to grab your stuff, get your friends, and then we can all watch this prison burn to the ground"
