It ain’t the pitching. The offense is lifeless. No situational hitting, no “get ‘em on, get ‘em over, get ‘em in”. Swinging for the fences is a terrible strategy considering a great home run hitter only hits 40+ in 600 at bats. Start trading some of those favorable contracts for some prospects that can get hits. This lineup has no chemistry.

As a Mets fan, we had an 0-5 start and made the post season. It's not impossible, but the further the skid goes the longer you've gotta put up a better win percentage down the line. But in the same sense, they gotta prevent some of these runs coming in too.

With 1.6 runs per game there is no much that can be done. Holmes should an OK 5rh starter I still have faith in him.

Boy, What a bummer!!! I was really looking forward to this season but the prospects are dimming quickly. I know it's a long season still to come and opportunities will present themselves to make up ground and gain some positive momentum but this situation just has a very odorous stench to it. The Braves seem to be absent any really true leadership.

We have to see how we do the rest of the season all of are good players are not back yet so if they all do not get injured and play good we might be able to beat the good teams

We gotta be patient it's not time yet to hit the painc button yet but with profar out see the the doors open for cruz and hopefully alex will come up and help out
