Failure to recognize a flank was happening is the problem here. The minimap gave all the details needed to see that was happening. One ship needed to be on the far right to spot and delay a push of that type and the CC would have been that best option. Would have let you and the other BB make better decision before going into a crossfire. I am not saying it would have been a win but your team would have won that flank with better positioning.
