Weirdest thing that happened to me as marine at camp Pendleton was one weekend I was walking on a trail and I looked up and there was a huge owl on a cactus tree looking at me then it flew towards me and landed 5 feet in front of me and grabbed a big ass rattlesnake on the trail and took off! Owl saved my ass!!!

The most terrifying thing in this story are the ads that pops up when you’re immersed

Sorry that I misread California as Carolina, that was totally my mistake.

I was on the Safed Koh mountain on patrol. We walked for hours without anyone talking. About 3am we heard someone calling different names. Each name was someone on the team. We stopped got ready for a fight. This went on for ten minutes, then nothing complete silence . It was scary we continued on without incident. What ever it was called us by our last names. I’ll never forget the sound of that voice.

I was stationed in 29 Palms. 2/7. I came across a random amputated finger on range 400. It didn't belong to any Marine on base, after an investigation. It was theorised that a civilian scrapper, was collecting used ordnance parts, and either got hit with ordnance from a unit training or came across an unexploded mortar or artillery round.

The night sky comes alive when looking at it thru NODs. It’s amazing how many stars are out there that you can’t see with the naked eye.

For those of you complaining about a so-called marine having an English accent... He's reading a written story, and not a first person account.

I seriously hate listening to this, but I can’t stop. I still can’t lay down without feeling like something is watching me, and I got out of the Marines in Aug of 2003.

It's NEVER a good sign when a witness to a bizarre phenomenon is asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

To all saying why it couldn't be true: wait, this was supposed to be real stories? But, I will say, the story about the thing copying the one dudes voice, I've heard scarily similar stories, from way different people.
