It's cool that you got Tony to play on your album!  He's a really nice guy.  He's down to earth and has a ton of interesting stories from being out on the road and in the studio.  I like your music by the way!

He may not be the "greatest" Stick player (I've seen Greg Howard multiple times) but it can't be denied that he's brought the most musicians *by far* to the Stick. From Crimson to Peter Gabriel to Liquid Tension Experiment to his own solo material, quite literally thousands have said "What is that odd Instrument he's *NOODLING* on?" and decided to give it a try.

Yep, Tony is great! He's real passionate about his playing. I also like Tom Peterson on the 12 string.

A friend here on Maui gigs around the islands (both Maui and Big Island) playing both the Stick and Warr guitars - Joe Conti. Cool instruments. This studio looks like Barefoot (as in Taylor) Studios. I think the "Specialized" water bottle - for bike riding - gives it away.

As someone greatly influenced by Tony growing up to become a semi-professional bassist, he's certainly more than amazing enough for me. So much of *my* style comes from him: choosing the right time to play melodic lines, beautiful fretless choices or percussive parts instead of a flurry of fast wanking... plus if you've ever met him he's just a classy human being.
