I'm finishing up a 68 IH Loadstar 1700 4x4 just like this, but keeping it mostly factory. I have 7.17 ratio and can pull out in 3rd gear on a hill, so my bull gear could drag the Killdozer in a circle . I want to go faster, but I guess I could go find a 2x4 version with higher ratio, this thing was loaded to be the toughest truck in town, so why work so hard to change it, I feel? But you're gonna have a nice project

That looks great! I've been working on a GMC 7000 but probably won't do a pickup bed. Just shortened it. Kept suspension the same and MAN does it ride a little rough haha. Any news on this beast?

I just wouldn’t go too flashy with the truck, to be honest the truck is fine as is, but I’m sure there are some things you guys would like to change to make it more road friendly.
