Description
I love Home Theatreโ€™s and Stereo Systems and My goal is to find the speakers, amps, receivers, etc, with the best price to performance ratio. I also review, test and talk about them. For years I have been a huge fan of audio and have decided to help others choose speakers that are best for them.

When you are buying anything audio related there are three main factors you need to think about, Price, Quality, and the Price to performance ratio. For example, you could spend $3,000 for a system and get very little performance for the price by not really thinking about your needs. Or you could buy a system for a lesser price that energizes you and blows you away with sound quality, imaging, and dynamics.

It mainly depends on what you are looking to do. With the right research and the right speakers and accessories you can put together a mind blowing sound system that sounds better than systems that cost two, even three times the cost.

Just heard these speakers for the first time today. Keep in mind that I listened to them while connected to a subwoofer. But they really took my breath away. They sounded FANTASTIC. No kind of distortion on higher volumes either. Probably picking these up.

@HomeTheatre101 Before I deceided to spend nearly $5k on home theatre I deciided I was gonna get the best money could buy. I tried out Krix, Bose, Yamaha, Onkyo, Harman Kardon, Wharfedale, Polk, Sonos etc and to be honest the only speakers that were on par in general were Krix, Bose and Sonos. As far as sound quality and depth of sound from quiet to loud and high to low frequency only Krix came close. I currently have a full Klipsch R28f Reference Home Theatre system, which is a solid start and will hopefully grow into something bigger. Those speakers you are using would make a good mid or rear speaker for home theatre, or as you have them in a sound system setting. If you really want to hear the sound quality, I have a little experiment for you... get your hands on two 'run of the mill' speakers and put them next to the krix on the same system. Keeping the volume at the same level and all other setting through the receiver exactly the same try out some of these songs, but try and avoid MP3 unless in a high quality (320kbps or more), most streaming services are only around 128kbps. These songs are used by Audiophiles the world over as good 'reference standard' of different speaker/amplifier combination performance (Artist/Album/Song):

Another great review, and another thumbs up. I may make a purchase of these Klipsch R-15M speakers, and they are affordable up here in Canada. Plenty of bass for this these two small bookshelf speakers. I was going to buy the Klipsch R-14Ms, but these R-15M's are a better choice. Classic Klipsch sound.

Which amplifier may you recommend me for such pair of speakers and if possible lower in budget than speakers cost ? Would appreciate it a lot... And if possible a DAC recommendation fror it too, please !

Good little speakers but I would use them for surround rather than mains but they sound good.

I have mine paired with a Klipsch sub woofer and it helps a lot, yes. But these speakers are wonderful. The smaller ones are good for the bedroom..

I have the R-41PM with the right speaker acting as the power and mini amp. I wanted to hook both my speakers up to my receiver like you did. But only the left speaker omits sound, how did you get both of your speakers to work with your receiver?
jameshenderson3925 (23 hours ago)
metallica's master of puppets would be a good choice.

So I'm pretty ignorant but, these can be paired with the Klipsch R-10SW, right?
gabrielortiz303 (21 hours ago)
It's my understanding that these function without an additional receiver / amp of any type... do you feel the need to add either of these two components or are they satisfying without the additional power? Personally I would add the extra power anyway, but I just have to ask because I've never heard these in person with or without amp!

Do you feel the need to add a subwoofer in the future? Or do the speakers have sufficent bass?
