Superman came from a timeline where the thematic elements of a story matter more within the universe (suspension of disbelief is status quo, to the point where they cant really come up with explanations for things they think are obvious), while Batman comes from a timeline where realism matters more and that everything should have natural consequence and continuation outside that's consistent with the expected (nitpickingly critical of everything that "isnt realistic" whatever that means to them)
