I noticed that if you hit chaos elfilis in “ball mode” it “glitches”, similar to how nightmare in ball mode glitches from Kirby’s adventure. I think there’s definitely a connection here, especially due to the fact that both games heavily lean on dreams.

This reminds me of that post based on dark souls games where eventually you feel relieved coming accross a boss several stories tall but feel genuine fear seeing a human sized boss with a sword.

Elfilis' theme definitely has a lot of similarities to Void Termina's. Given the Kirby series' penchant for half of its storytelling being done through the music, I have to think that's not a coincidence.
