im not gonna lie bro its most likely a problem with one of the ribbon cables that goes through the hinge, to fix this you would have to disassemble it and replace the ribbon, i recommend finding someone who is experienced with repairing 3ds to do this for you, as this can be quite complicated to fix yourself(speaking from experience lol), hope this helps!
