RIP Bob Clampett you are a true legend, thank you (1913-1984)

When I first saw Clampett cartoons as a kid, my eyes bugged out of my head. He took animation to places I didn’t know it could go.

This is basically the reason why I love Clampett's cartoons: Good violence, funny and great faces (mostly done and animated by Rod Scribner) and great and magnificent gags!

Ngl I really love how bugs looks in clampett's shorts.

What a delightful array of Clampett's cartoon moments. Unquestionably, he was and continues to this day, the Genius of Animation Slapstick.

Clampett's up there with Tex Avery in terms of overall quality.

I think that drawing violence and slapsticks is a whole type of art, you have to know how to do it, I have seen in many more current cartoons where violence is not funny, they make it look very painful, and more real, with characters showing pain, wounds or even broken bones, when the fun of the slapstick is the exaggerated, chaotic and at the same time innocuous of this
