Tbh this is one of my favourite Sonic songs and it didnt even make it into the game

Imagine a next gen Shadow game with graphics like the CGI cutscenes.

For anyone interested on why this was cut, Danny Parker of A2 shed some light: This was originally supposed to be the Neutral-Hero theme. Jun Senoue wanted to use this, and all the band members were in agreement except the singer, Wylie B. They couldn't track him down to get his permission to use it. What a lot of people don't know is that Sins of a Divine Mother and A2 contain some of the same band members. Danny was the producer and sound mixer of both while Kyle B. was the bassist for both. Danny described Sins as a separate studio project to A2. So when they couldn't let Jun use Broken, Danny and Kyle suggested making an original song based on the game's storyline, with a similar vibe to Broken. That ended up being Chosen One, and the rest is history. Personally while I think Chosen One is cool, I like Broken just a little bit more.

This song NEEDS to be in the Generations dlc. Spread the word!

Who else wants a remake of this game but with better animation, story line, etc...?

This song hurts my heart and soul on a whole 'nother level. It's so melancholy, and I can't help but feel bad for Shadow with everything that's happened to him.

Sonic The Hedgehog is a series that has explored so many avenues and accommodated some of the most flexible of motifs and gimmicks. Because the story of Adventure 1 and 2 was progressing the way it did, the whole gun thing never bothered me. It might not be something I would take in every Sonic game, but I only took the game as simply "the next chapter" of the series and that guns were only part of that story. Due to the move towards the more darker tones that Adventure 2 brought us, it just somehow worked and I credit SEGA with that a lot. Without the hordes of Sonic fans complaining about it all because they feel they "should", I think "Shadow the Hedgehog" is a more respectable game to the better part of the fanbase than what it looks online.

The "Only you can make a difference, darling" kills me, you know thats how Shadow feels about Maria and himself.
