Quick thing about down attack: Since the game counts it as a projectile, on hit it gives you a free stack of ice or fire if you're running either of those perks. This is significant because it's also a true combo out of jab 2, making it a strong option to go for if you land your jab and your enemy hasn't been debuffed yet.
