She's running on an Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz and can operate on battery for ~20 minutes before need to be recharged. Not exactly groundbreaking specs but that's the current state of affairs.

People forget to think about what work it takes to actually create a robot like that. They are spoiled by movies where everything looks very easy by help of computer animation. It took a good long time to get these robots even walk upright on two legs similar like a human does. A robot doesn't exactly have a natural balance feeling like humans are given by nature. It takes a lot of work and even more patience to get just such small things working properly.

What I read was that this is supposed to be some sort of fashion model robot. It would probably work pretty well for that purpose.
