@DavidxB93 from what he's said, it was an inside joke he wanted to take as far as possible, meaning people wearing it with or without clue. i found obey through non graffiti artists and thats how i discovered faireys work. process of recognition was ironic.. either way to quote shepard "go out and rock it". its not a serious thing, his name gets spread and as he mentioned in an interview, hes where he wants to be as an artist thanks to obey mainstreaming.

I have like mostly any obey snap shirt and sweaters. I woukd get the andre the giant tatt on me. Im commited to obey.
