I've seen a lot of people "snipe" in other games, but THIS is what the word describes.

Watching this the second time, I do believe you now. I just hadn't found the white light of the enemy sniper and thought he had been behind the building, which would've meant that you two talked and adjusted your shot.

@ethanlang Because the M98B is the only sniper rifle to use a bullet larger than 7.62mm. It uses the .338 Lapua Magnum round, which really means nothing in the game, which has a greater range and more energy at longer distances. So the M98B max effective range realistically is about 1400-1500 meters, even though longer shots are possible, and all other sniper rifle maxing out at about 1100-1200 (if you're lucky) but they still can reach farther. This is just max effective range...

Great shooting! I was able to see their scopes, and simply what you did was epic. Again, great shooting.

@resdudeornardude console maps are maps with 32 players, PC can run on 64, 64 player maps are actually at a larger scale than 32 player maps. So console cannot shoot as far because the map's scale is shrunk down.

@TMcNealy he's using a bipod. Bipods steady the weapon for you when you're leaning the gun on a surface.

@resdudeornardude Oh and the way you get maximum range is to have 2 players each with a passenger chopper. each player fly out to the max (flying vehicle range) at either end of the map (oporation firestorm) use the main road through the middle for clear sight) that will net you a 3.3k head shot if u pull it off. The bullet will go a LOT further but there is no way to get more range between the players.

@thetubewithin the L85A2 is only accurate up too 100m, after that you then need to consider gravitational drag. so you probably aren't aiming high enough.

that was actually 1968, because the marksman bonus is the distance in meters - 100.

@LSU7IGER2 Its MSI afterburner, lets you see your GPU temps and such in an overlay.
