I show you another kind of EZ Pour gas spout in this new vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8xJ2yJLx6o

What I found that works well for a vent is a regular valve stem from a tire, just remove the valve and replace the cap.

I agree with you, Brother. The new ones are so difficult to use and I just take the spout off and insert the hand pump I use for pouring diesel fuel in my tractor, and just use a spout to pour fuel in my mowers.

If you think the gas cans are hard to use, try lifting a five gallon can of diesel up to put into a pickup that has a regular size hole. You have to pull that little tip back with a finger, while balancing fifty lbs of diesel, and trying not to spill it. I destroyed a nozzle, and still spilled a gallon down the side of the truck, 'cause no vent. NOW, I will fix the problem. Thank you...

I have spilled more diesel fuel with those nuisance "safety" spouts". I didn't know they came out with a" normal" spout kit. But I'm glad to see they exist and how easy it is to install one in my diesel container. Thanks for the helpful info.

So far so good. I’ve filled it twice and it’s great getting 13 gallons at one shot https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkx-vlHjazTv30m_UAq9Ht-fuPo2jBx7tTx . It pumps out by using gravity so the bottom of the tank needs to be above the vessel you're filling. Not a drop spilled filling the generator three times. Let’s see where we’re at after 20 fills.

Those EPA spouts are worse than useless, they are a hazard to the environment because of how much gas you spill.
