Why is everyone so mad about building a sonic? It's a cheap car with a lot of potential without a ton of investment. Building a capable track sonic while retaining good streetability shouldn't cost more than 5k. The solution to all car builds is not "hurr get a mustang." Different strokes for different folks. Real car enthusiasts shouldn't disparage someone for building what they want.

The RS does have its perks. Will beat a lot off the line till fourth gear. With just a tune at 200hp. It is a fun car to drive. Betting a 370 off a line is fun.

I wish I could hear the sound better. But im happy the sonic is getting some notice. Its a fun car to drive that isn't expensive. Thanks modified!

That's one bad sonic. One if the best modded sonics I think I've seen.

For everyone asking, the fenders are one-offs they had custom fabbed by some company they worked with. Not for sale anywhere.

For the nay sayers of tuning a small car here is a fact. Driving a fast car slow during your commute is not fun but driving a small car all out is way more fun likely you can still get fast enough to get in trouble but still when your at the pumps be smiling. Gotta love a little car like this, may consider trading my scion in for one of these with the expectation of having some tuning done. Looks like a fun project car. B spec race cars look to be fun affordable thrill

its funny how people say you should get this car or that car instead, if we did how boring would we be all driving the same thing, to you nay sayers i say nay.i will drive what i want and customize how i want and if you don't like it then go look at a fiesta.

I would do anything to have that car. The Chevy Sonic RS is my dream car.

I like my LTZ hatch. It's like a big go kart with 180whp tuned! I also get awesome gas mileage driving it everyday.

I seen this car yesterday next to In N Out. Looks awesome in person. Also where did u get the wheel hub adapters at?

whats the fender flares ? are they custom ? and what suspension are you running on this ?  I am really liking this setup 

And at the end of the day it's still a funny looking hatchback.
