Thank you for making this, I browsed a handful of vids talking about this game and they were so toothless about the microtransactions. Good on them for being... professional? I guess? But this is just gross. Especially when ya consider how these were not shown in the ads and trailers leading up to this game! So disappointing.

Saw the microtransactions and simply went back to Mario Kart. What the Hell was Square Enix smoking? Thinking it was a good idea to try and be like Mario Kart while nickel and diming a player base that can simply go back to Mario Kart if they're unhappy with the game? Considering the Mario Kart DLC has as many tracks as the base game, Square overestimates themselves

Just a quick update, I was mistaken in claiming it was digital-only. That one is on me. That said, that doesn’t really fix any of the game’s issues.

I'm kind of a sucker for anything with Final Fantasy VII content ever since Cloud debuted in Super Smash Bros. Also, I coughed up the money needed to unlock him because I had a lot of Nintendo eShop funds.

This game's monetization model is a joke. Square needs to get their act together or they'll eventually alienate their fan base

I AM SO ANGRY ABOUT THIS GAME, I mean keep your microtransactions to your android games!! They could had made like like special customizations (like clothing/color/cars, NOT CHARACTERS) like 5~10 bucks if people really wanted certain stuff. I feel so disapoitend that I wasted 50 euros for an incomplete game, I was so hyped. Next time I'm only buy physical copies if avaiable, so I can at least resell to my local game shop and they pay almost full price)
